M5 onto A380 and follow direction TORQUAY. Follow this road keeping direction Torquay/Paignton/Totnes/Newton Abbot. At Newton Abbot there is a major roundabout where you will keep direction Torquay. (Newton Abbot is approx 10 miles from Galmpton). Before Torquay bear right following the A380 (Ring Road) at the roundabout direction Brixham/Dartmouth/Totnes bypassing Torquay and Paignton.
Continue on this road direction Brixham/Dartmouth and you will pass Focus DIY/Kentucky Fried Chicken and then Sainsbury’s/McDonalds on your right. At the major junction with the A3022 (Brixham Road) with sign for Torquay/Paignton left turn right (direction Brixham/Dartmouth A3022). After this right turn take an immediate right (signposted Doctor’s Surgery) onto Langdon Lane which borders a common to the left and this leads straight down into Galmpton village.**
If you miss this turn take next right after signpost for Galmpton/Greenway Quay onto Manor Vale Road. Continue on this road and then bear right onto Stoke Gabriel Road. You will see Galmpton's local pub The Manor Inn. Continue past the pub staying on Stoke Gabriel Road for exactly half a mile which leads you through Galmpton passing the Congretational Church on the right and the local shops on your left. Continue straight heading out of the village and just before the derestriction sign before a hill (Port Hill) you will see Barnacle and Port Hill Cottages on the right. They are pink and are the very last houses in the village.
**If you took the first turning onto Langdon Lane, continue straight over a small roundabout and as you enter the village down a small hill you will see a signpost right for Stoke Gabriel and Local shops. Turn right there onto Stoke Gabriel Road and you will pass the Congregational Church on your right and follow as above.
